I have learned it is better to be joyful than to be happy because joy includes contentment! And contentment comes through my union with Christ.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We just debuted a new worship song titled \u201cJesus Is the Joy.\u201d He really is! No matter what we are facing or enduring, joy is a possession that is ours through our oneness with our Savior. The question is not <i>\u201cDo we have joy?\u201d <\/i>but rather, <i>\u201cWill we choose to live in it?&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>JESUS IS THE JOY<br \/><\/b>Joy in the baby boy born in Bethlehem<br \/>Joy in the carpenter with nail prints in His hands<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p>Joy in Messiah\u2019s birth, sent to save His own<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>Joy in the Son of Man who made this earth His home<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p><b>CHORUS<br \/><\/b><b>You are the Fount of Happiness<br \/><\/b><b>For there is joy in righteousness<br \/><\/b><b>A heart that\u2019s bent in praise<br \/><\/b><b>Is contented in Your ways<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Joy in my Savior\u2019s blood shed upon the tree<br \/>Joy in the broken chains, He has set me free<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p>Joy in the dark of night, joy in my pain<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>Joy in the daily fight, joy because He reigns<br \/>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p>Of all that brings the Father joy<br \/>Of all His pleasures to abound<br \/>A manger held a baby boy<br \/>A Savior wore a thorny crown<\/p>\n<p>Joy in the Father\u2019s eyes<br \/>He sees His Son in me<br \/>Joy in the here and now<br \/>And all eternity<br \/>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p>Joy in the Father\u2019s arms<br \/>Accepted, loved, and held<br \/>Joy in my Savior\u2019s love<br \/>I know all is well<br \/>There is joy<br \/>Jesus is the Joy<\/p>\n<p><em>For Harbour Shores Church, series in Philippians<\/em><br \/><em>\u00a9 2025 Portion Music\/ASCAP<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a follower of Jesus Christ, I can be joyful even in the unhappiest of circumstances.
