Scripture describes Christ as a Victor in war, making His captives out to be mere trophies. In Colossians, we learn He \u201cdisarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.\u201d To disarm means to strip of every weapon. He publicly humiliated His enemies, defeating them and exposing their vileness. Because of Jesus\u2019 triumph on the cross and over the grave, the enemy was also stripped of the ability to accuse Christians before God.<\/p>\n
